Steve Thanks for your comments about our trtnemeat of history at the World of Coca-Cola. I certainly understand your points, but let me explain our perspective. With respect to the urn, very few of them remained in use for a long time with the lid intact. The lids were the most likely item to experience breakage. We felt that most consumers in the 1890s would have seen the urn as we show it.For the Hutchinson bottle, we chose one labeled for the Biedenharn Candy Company as this was the first bottle used for Coca-Cola. It is a subtle distinction but one that is historically significant.Anytime you make selections of artifacts to tell a story, you are reflecting a personal perspective. In creating the Milestones of Refreshment display, we tried to select items that told that story in the best possible way. Another curator telling the same story might well have a different selection of material. In the end, I hope that the items shown tell the stories well for a general audience, but I also think that we have enough really rare items on display to satisfy the many collectors who come for a visit. Thanks Phil
