The Mormon Fatwa against LGBT peolpe is no less deadly than the Muslim Fatwa against its critics. The heinous part is that the Mormons speak with self proclaimed impunity, shifting the effects of their personal pronouncements over to God.

I could not disagree with you more. I too see a lot of taehter and I saw Next Fall twice last summer. It was far and away my highlight summer taehter experience. Though you are correct that many of the issues NF addresses have been seen before, I left feeling the writer, director and cast dealt "with them in a delicate, beautiful way, and has characters with depth, nuance, and subtlety." I appreciate a narrative which isn't compelled to shove conflict and resolution in my face. I feel NF deftly opened a dialogue where no tidy answers prevailed. I became an engaged participant, not merely a viewer.
