A Special Birthday Preasent : Part 1

Love story

Today you celebrated your 19th birthday party and the party has just ended. All of the guests have gone home and you are now alone in your apartment to clean up the mess from the party. You are upset that I wasn't at the party and absolutly furious that you haven't heard from me all day. You decide that you will call me after you clean up and yell at me for not at least calling you to wish you a happy birthday.

You walk into the bathroom and look in the mirror at yourself. You have catlike ears on your head and a tail poking out of your short skirt from the accident when you were little. Ever since the accident you have had catlike features and even acted like a cat a little. You look away from themirror and start cleaning and before long the apartment is looking normal again. The kitchen is no longer full of food, the bathroom is, well, not as bad as it was, and your room is back in order with the bed made.

You look down at the promise ring that I gave you last year and a sense of longing fills your heart. You pull your cell phone out of your pocket and call me. Nobody aswers. You feel angry and alone, so you sit down on your bed and start to cry. Suddenly, there is a knock on the door. You stand up and dry your tears as another knock booms through the apartment. You walk over to the door and open it to see me standing there.

You don't know weather to kiss me or slap me so you simply ask, "Where have you been?" I watch you for a few seconds and then reply, "I'm sorry, I was running a few errands that took longer than I expected." Then I lean in and kiss you on the cheek. You've forgiven me and are so glad that i'm finally here but you pretend to be angry as you say, "Well what errands could possibly be more important than your girlfriend's birthday party?" to which I reply, "Birthday shopping." You look down and see a bag in my hand. "Oh." you say blankly. I take a step towards you and hug you tightly. "I love you" I whisper and you reply, "I love you too".
